– GRADUATE TESTIMONIALS
  • “As an experienced technician in the field of Electronic Circuit board testing, I wanted to improve my knowledge of Electronics, so I decided to return to college as a mature student and achieved my BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering. This allowed me to explore new aspects of technology that I was not privy to before, and one such field was the study of CMOS IC design. I was immediately drawn to the subject and it allowed me to develop a CMOS Integrated Circuit of an Algorithmic Logic Unit for my final year project. I knew from that point that I would try to develop this newfound skill, and IC Mask Design was the perfect place to do so. Upon starting in this new company, I found myself at the beginning of a new road surrounded by dedicated experienced Layout Engineers who were with me to see my skill level increase. I was encouraged to be part of the team and it allowed my self-confidence to grow enough for me to give back. I would strongly recommend any person pursuing a career in Layout Design to consider IC Mask Design as their place to kick start that career.”

    Keith Cooper. Graduate.
  • I joined IC Mask Design straight out of my BEng in Electronic Eng. I had originally intended to pursue my BEng (hons) but after I noticed the position of graduate layout engineer I decided to apply. I was surrounded by a highly experienced, skilled and motivated group of senior engineers always willing to help me with any issue I encountered and providing guidance every step of the way endowing me with the knowledge and skill set required to overcome any issue or challenge I encountered in the world of physical design. In essence I was learning while also being an effective member of the engineering team. IC Mask Design encouraged me to return to further my education on a part time basis (something which was quite important to me) providing financial support and flexibility allowing me to maintain a healthy balance between my work, college and personal life.  Considering all of the above which all stemmed from that initial opportunity they gave me I owe them a serious debt of gratitude and would implore any graduate seeking a rewarding challenge with an interest in the field of IC design to apply.”

    Jack Quinn. Graduate.
  • “As a graduate I believe IC Mask Design was the perfect company for me to begin my career in the semiconductor industry. I received mentorship from the experts in the field of IC layout, who specialize in delivering professional training to many eminent companies, which enabled me to become a competent engineer over a relatively short period of time. I also gained valuable experience, having worked with many companies, and different technologies, during my time with the company. This exposure provided me with a solid understanding of the industry and appreciation for my line of work, which motivated me to pursue a part-time master’s degree in IC design. This was strongly encouraged and supported by the company’s leadership. Overall, I am very grateful to IC Mask Design for the opportunities and personal growth that it provided me with, and I would highly recommend this company to any graduate looking for a challenging and engaging role.”

    Vadym Skyba. Graduate.
